ChildBuilders is partnering with KidThrive to launch a Learning Management System (LMS). This e-learning distribution hub will create a sustainable revenue stream, not only for these two organizations, but also for others who partner with them. The system allows for a variety of revenue models from free to fee-based. The LMS is a unique revenue model for nonprofits to partner together leveraging their content during both lean and prosperous economic times. Five organizations are currently participating in this pilot project.
KidThrive was awarded a $10,000 grant from the AKR Foundation to help with the launch of their LGBTQ Text Line in Texas. The text line is an anonymous text messaging service that helps questioning kids who are exploring their sexual identity and dealing with the frequent gay bullying often associated with coming out or questioning. For additional information, check out the LGBTQ Text Line.pdf.
