As committed social venture entrepreneurs, the founders made a strategic decision to create two entities; a for-profit business, OneSeventeen Media, Inc., and an openly funded nonprofit organization, KidThrive.org, each operating independently and pursuing their own complimentary missions. This model allows each entity to act in its best interests, while mutually supporting one another at key junctures to reinforce our overarching goal of large-scale alleviation of the daily challenges facing our kids

Tackling big social problems requires big thinking solutions. You have the unique opportunity to participate in this social platform for the next generation while knowing that your donation is an investment in sustainable social change.

Our sister organization, OneSeventeen Media is the for-profit enterprise that relies on consumer markets to drive revenues to partially fund the work of KidThrive. The OneSeventeen Media partners have donated an adaptive learning platform licensing agreement to facilitate responsible data collection and along with initial company equity have a commitment to donate a portion of annual net profits and to hosting periodic company sponsored fundraisers and events.

KidThrive.org pursues independent funding for its work through private foundations, corporate foundations, government and individual grants and donations.

We’re uniquely positioned to fulfill our purpose as relentless allies advocating for proven social media content for kids, while pioneering respectful, responsible and accountable industry wide data collection initiatives and expanding the research and development of social media tools.

If you’d like to know more about our outcomes and impacts as well as the social problems we can solve together, feel free to contact us. We’d love to speak with you!

IT WORKS!

Our students benefitted

by learning a new technology through the Youth Advisory Board and gaining “real-life” experience. They were delighted that a company was “actually listening to us!”
